This was a personal project I took on and is not made for real world use. This is just to practice my design skills. I wanted to delve really deep into an unfamiliar brand. I made a branding audit of all the things that could be improved. 

The company is a brewery in Northern Virginia called Chubby Squirrel Brewing Co. They are located at the heart of downtown Fairfax, VA. They have a logo currently that is very illustrative. It definitely needs an update to compete with the competition in the surrounding area. There are a lot of elevated brand breweries in the NOVA area. I also wanted to keep in mind it is a microbrewery and according to the owner from an interview he did in the local paper, “It’s a friendly, relaxed, come-as-you-are, kind of place. We also get lots of young families in here, and we really take care of our neighbors because I’m a neighbor, too. We’re not trying to be trendy – we just want people to get to know us, come back and appreciate that we’re trying to do a good job.” Which I translated as we aren't trying to expand we just want people to come by and enjoy our product. So all the materials I decided to make are easily printable with the resources they already have so as not to break the bank. Please note this project is still a work in progress and I will update periodically with new content.
